I started this 365 project on January 1st so today marks the end. Looking back I see I only missed a couple of days, so not bad. I'm not sure if I will do another full 365 but do plan to continue for now.
This ice formed in a small container and I took the top layer out and flipped it over. I'm thinking the colours came from something oily that was on the ice.
Another ice and bubbles shot, this one had so little colour that I went with B&W. I really like taking shots of ice so as long as it is cold you will probably see more like this.
I was in the car most of the day so tried some hand held night shots after I was home. I was not really happy with any of the shots, but chose this one to post for my daily shot.
This shot was an accident. I was taking a test shot with long exposure and my wife didn't know. She stepped in to the frame part way through and ended up ghostlike.
Some ice formed in a small container outside last night. This morning I took the ice off the top of the container and propped it up, with the sun behind, to take some shots of the bubbles in the ice.
I worked with the on-camera flash to try different settings and bounce angles. This seemed to be the best one since there weren't any strong shadows created.
Spotted this little figure on a stump just off a trail. No idea how long it has been there. I walk this trail a lot and today is the first time I've noticed it.
The only images I took today were when I was doing some checking for air leaks and poor insulation. Otherwise I didn't have my camera out today. This image is our front door where I installed a piece of plastic and a fan to blow air out to depressurize the house.
I had not planned to take another shot of the moon but I had not taken anything yet today. I saw the moon was visible so went out and took a few shots.
Playing with camera movement while taking some shots of a willow tree. I liked the layers in this image and the few green leaves that you can sort of make out.
I didn't get out for a photo today so I am posting this one from yesterday. This was shot looking the opposite direction from yesterday's moonrise shot.
A flock of gulls sitting on the runway at the small airstrip in town. They were head into the wind, too bad I didn't think of it at the time and try to get the wind sock in the image.
