Day 90 - New Leaf

I think this is a poplar. I've been enjoying the macro work but I think I will have to try something different tomorrow.

Day 89 - Larch

The larch needles are starting to grow.

Day 88 - Feather

I was out testing a lens that had dropped to the ground when my camera broke and was just doing a bunch of quick shots. I ended up liking this image more than others I had done today with more purpose.

Day 87 - Willow

I like the way the leaves curl around as these willow buds open up. So many interesting things for macro shots.

Day 86 - Red Maple

I was told this is called witch-hazel. It looks like it is covered in little pom-poms. (Correction, I was told this is a red maple.)

Day 85 - Hairy Leaf Buds

© Peter Mitchell

I thought it was interesting how hairy these are as they are opening up. Focus stacked macro.

Day 84 - Old Leaf

© Peter Mitchell

All the leaves on this tree dried in the fall but didn't fall off. I don't know if that is common for this type of tree (I haven't found out what type it is). I thought it showed nice lines and patterns with the sun backlighting.
