I went out late in the day again and spotted this red-breasted sapsucker. It did not seem to be bothered by my presence and at one point a second flew in and landed close to the first. I only got a couple of shots of the two of them before one went around the back of the tree and then flew off. One stayed around for quite a while allowing me to take a lot of shots, be even so I found it hard to get a nice clear image.
